The foundation stone of the institute was laid by Late Dadasaheb Jagtap on 17th August 1952, taking inspiration from Hon.
B. G. Jagtap. This institute rendering educational service for the deprived students of rural and poor tribal students.
This institute registered under Act 1960 Charitable Trust Act 1950. It is registered under Society
Registeration Act 1960 R-N BOMP/PN Dt. 15th December 1958 and as per Charitable Act 1950 R. No E 158 on 3rd December 1954.
Janata Shikshan Sanstha has been working in the field of education for the last 66 years in rural as well as urban areas of Pune District. Taking into Consideration
social debt, we are working with great devotion. The institute runs 2 Secondary Schools, 6 Junior Colleges, 1 Senior College, 3 Marathi Medium Primary Schools, 3 Pre-Primary
Schools, 2 English Medium Pre-Primary Schools, 2 English Medium High schools and one free library. The institute also runs Junior College having vocational training. Nearly 15000 students are availing this educational facility. Nearly 470 teaching an non-teaching employees are working with devotion.
Annual average result of all branches is 80%. There is sufficient, well-trained teaching staff in schools and colleges. The institute provides admission to all the students
irrespective of caste and creed.
