Examination Pattern
College will conduct examinations as per the norms laid down by the Savitribai
Phule Pune University from time to time. Marks scored in such examinations shall
from the basis for grant of terms.
Standard Of Passing
The standard of passing will be as per the rules and regulations of the Savitribai
Phule Pune University .
- The Candidate who has secured atleast 40% marks in each head of passing
will be declared to have passed in the paper.
- Each theory and practical examination is a separate head of passing.
- As far as ATKT is concerned, a student who fails in two theory, and one
practical head at F.Y.B.Com./F.Y.B.A. may be admitted to S.Y.B.Com./S.Y.B.A.
Likewise a student who fails in the two theory and one practical of passing at
S.Y.B.Com./S.Y.B.A. may be admitted toTY.B.Com./T.YB.A. But a student
passing S.Y.B.Com./S.YB.A. but failing in any subject at F.Y.B.Com./F.Y.B.A.
cannot be admitted to T.Y.B.Com./T.Y.B.A.
Award of Class
The class shall be awarded to the student on the basis of the aggregate marks
obtained by him at the first year examination, and in respect of BA. & B.Com degree
on the aggregate marks obtained by the candidate in the second and third year of
examination.
The award of cIass is as follows:
- Aggregate 70% and above = > First Class with Distinction
- Aggregate 60% and above but less than 70% = > First Class
- Aggregate 55% and more but less than 60% = > Higher Second Class
- Aggregate 50% and more but less than 55% = > Second Class
- Aggregate 40% and more but less than 50% = > Pass Class
- Below 40% = > Failure
