Maintenance of Discipline and Good conduct by students. Under section 87 & section 39 (III) of the Savitribai Phule Pune University Act, 1994)
Every Student of Smt. C. K. Goyal College shall
-
Conduct himself properly.

Maintain proper behaviour.
-
Observe strict discipline both on the campus of the college and also outside, in buses, railway trains or at public places or at picnics or educational trips arranged by the college or on playgrounds.

Ensure that no act of his/her consciously or unconsciously brings the college into disrepute.

Shall not lodge any complaint or make any representation regarding any matter connected with college to the press or other outside institution/agency etc. without forwarding the same through the Principal of the College.
Any act of students which is contrary to the provisions of clause (I) shall constitute misconduct and / or indiscipline which terms shall mean and include 1 among others, any one or more of the acts jointly or severally mentioned hereinafter, namely.

Any act that directly or indirectly causes or attempts to cause disturbance in the lawful functioning of the college.

Habitual unpunctually in attending lectures, practical’s, tutorials and other courses as may be prescribed.

Canvassing for or accepting contributions or otherwise, associating himself or herself with rasing of any fund or any object whatever without the previous sanction of the Principal.

Securing admission in the college to any undergraduate or post graduate programme or any other course by fabrication or supersession of fact or information.

Obstruction to any student or group of students in his or their egitimate activities, whether in the classroom, laboratories, fields, playgrounds, gymnasium or places of social and cultural activity within the campus of the college.

Possessing or using fire arms, lethal weapons, explosives, or dangerous or corrosive substances on the premises of the College.

Possessing of consuming any poisonous or stupefying drug or intoxicant in any form in the college.
-
Ragging, bullying or harassing any student in college or outside thereof.
-
indulging in any act as would cause annoyance or embarrassment to any other student, or member or the authorities of the college or the staff member, or any member of the family of the staff.

lndulging in any act of violence, assault, intimidation or the college or outside thereof.
-
Destroying or attempting to destroy or tamper with any official record or document of the College.

Conduct unbecoming of the student at any meeting or special functions or sports and cultural activities arranged by the college or at any other public place.

Stealing or damaging of any property belonging to the college, staff member of the college or any other students.
-
Instigating violence or participating in any violent demonstrations or violent agitation or violent strikes in the college.

lnstigating or participation in any gherao of any official or staff member of the college.
-
Violation of any of the rules and regulations of the college or orders of the Authority.
-
Gambling in any form in the college.
-
Refusal to appear to give evidence before Enquiry Officer appointed by the Authority with respect to a charge against him.

Disorderly behaviour in any form or any act specifically forbidden by the Authority.
-
Conviction in the Court of Law for criminal offence, involving moral turpitude.
-
Any other act not specifically mentioned here to before which whether, by commission or omission, as would in the circumstances of the case, be considered by the Authority as an act of misconduct and/or indiscipline.

Ragging - Ragging is an offence as per the order of Hon'ble Supreme Court and guidelines laid by Govt. of Maharashtra & University of Pune.
General Remarks
-
Discipline: Students will abide by the general rules of discipline laid down by the college authorities from time to time. In all the matters, the Principal's decision shall be final and binding on all students.

Identity Card : A student must always carry with him/her the Identity Card issued to him/her. He/She must produce it whenever the authorities ask him/her to do so. Students are also required to display the I Card suitably while they are in College premises.

Attendance : A student must put in atleast the minimum attendance at the lectures as prescribed by the Savitribai Phule Pune University during each He/She must also carry out to the complete satisfaction of the Principal, the course of studies, tutorials, exercises, tests and practicals prescribed by the college authorities and by the Savitribai Phule Pune University.
The students who fail to put in minimum attendance at class room lectures, practicals, tests etc. or who do not attend the required number of RT. Parades of N.C.C. Parades are liable to be detained and may not be allowed to appear for the University examinations

Parking of vehicles: Students who bring vehicles such as cycles, scooters, etc. must park them at the student's parking stand only, located on the college campus.The students are expressly prohibited from parking their vehicles at any other place. The college authorities will not be responsible for the loss or damage to the vehicles not parked in the authorised Parking Stands.

Cleanliness of the campus : Every student must actively and positively participate in maintaining cleanliness ofthe campus of the college. The students must avoid any act which may make the campus unclean.
Important Points for the students to note and follow:

Any kind of ragging practices/activities on the part of students are strictly prohibited. The Government of Maharashtra has passed Anti Ragging Act There are provision in the act for serious punishment. The students should not and ensure that they do not involve in any activity/practice prohibited under the Act.

As per Savitribai Phule Pune University rules 80% attendance is necessary to become eligible to
appear for final examination of the year. All the students must ensure that they fulfil this requirement of attendance every year.

Wrong Parking of vehicles (two wheeler & four wheelers) causes great inconvenience to the traffic and it amounts to violation traffic rules. All the students should, therefore, park their vehicles (bicyles, scooter, motorcycle, cars etc.) only on the official parking space, (i.e. vehicles stand) alloted to the students by the college.

Consumption of tobacco, alcohol or any other intoxicants within the college premises is strictly prohibited.

Any act of indiscipline & misbehaviour within the college premises is a punishable act.
Compulsory Medical Examination

Every student admitted to F.Y.B.A./B.Com classes is required to undergo a compulsory medical examination. The students are informed about the venue and the date of the examination soon after the commencement of the academic year
Attendance and Parents - Teacher Meet

A Parent/Guardian is expected to keep a close eye on his son's/daughter academic progress and to also make sure that his/her attendance in the college is regular. If a student's attendance is below the prescribed University norms or if he/she fails to submit his assignments satisfactorily, he/she is likely to be debarred from the University exams. Parents may meet the Principal or concerned teachers to assess his/her son's/daughter's progress.

Besides, it is obligatory on the part of the parents/guardian to attend the Parents-teachers meeting which is likely to be held twice a year. (Advance intimation will be given to the parents.)
